Reconfigure a Store Connection

In some circumstances, you may need to reconfigure your store connection in ShipStation. Reconfiguring your store connection can be a helpful troubleshooting step if the store has stopped importing orders or if the store needs to be reauthenticated due to a password update or store API update.

Here are a few common reasons to reconfigure a store connection:

  • You've updated the username and/or password for the connected account.

  • The ShipStation authentication credentials for your store or marketplace have expired.

A good example of this is the annual eBay re-authentication requirement.

  • An update on the store account side has adjusted your store's URL structure.

  • You need to adjust store settings made when you originally connected the store.

  • The integration has migrated to new or updated endpoints.

This usually occurs when the store platform makes significant updates or adds new features not previously supported.

Once the reconfigure is complete, you should be able to import and ship orders from that store as you normally would.
