Fulfillments include orders that are marked as shipped and orders sent to a fulfillment partner like FBA or Shipwire.
The most common fulfillment issue is when the product SKU in ShipStation doesn't match the product SKU on record at your fulfillment center. The steps below will show you how to update the fulfillment SKU in ShipStation to match your fulfillment center SKU.
If your product SKU in ShipStation doesn’t match the SKU for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) or Shipwire, you will need to update the product details in ShipStation with the correct Fulfillment SKU for your products.
You may see an error similar to these when attempting to send an order to fulfillment:
"The request must contain the parameter Item.SellerSKU."
"Value XYZ for parameter Items.SellerSKU is invalid. Reason: InvalidValue."
If this occurs, you'll need to add the correct fulfillment SKU to the Product Details in ShipStation.
Open the Product Details window by clicking the product name in an order’s detail page or double-clicking a product in the Products tab.
Click on the Shipping tab and then enter your Fulfillment SKU from Amazon or Shipwire for that specific product.
Click Save Changes once you've entered the correct Fulfillment SKU.
Be sure to check the box to Apply to open orders if you have orders that have already imported into ShipStation that need to be sent to FBA, Shipwire, or both.
For FBA, be sure to use the MSKU value for the product as listed in your Amazon account.
The Fulfillment SKU field can only contain a single SKU. If you're using both FBA and Shipwire, you'll need to make sure the product is the same Fulfillment SKU for both fulfillment services.
To update the fulfillment SKU for multiple products at once:
Use the product CSV import to import all of your products and update them together. Enter the Fulfillment SKU into the FillSku field to be sure all of your products have valid SKUs for your fulfillment provider.
