Quickship (video overview), create labels w/Quickship, enable/disable Quickship, block users from Quickship, usage notes, and Label Queue.
Quickship is a faster way to create labels in ShipStation Legacy. When enabled and active, a single click will set your batch to create labels in the background, skipping the Cost Summary screen and print selection pop-up.
Quickship is ideal for experienced shippers who are confident in their shipping workflow and automate many of the shipping configuration tasks.
Quickship Benefits
It skips the cost summary screen which reviews the rate details, allows for one-time postage purchase, overrides the scheduled ship date, and displays warnings that may influence your shipping decisions.
It routes label processing to the background via the Label Queue, so that you can ship order after order without all the related confirmation dialogs.
It consolidates recently created labels in the Label Queue so that you have the option to print all of those queued labels in bulk rather than one at a time.
It can be configured so Quickshipped labels print out of your Connect-enabled printer as soon as they're done processing in the Label Queue.
Quickship in the New ShipStation Layout
The Quickship feature is not available in the new ShipStation layout, as some of its benefit is built in by default. We will continue to update the new layout to ensure all the benefits of Quickship in the Legacy Layout are available in the new layout soon.
Since Quickship is so fast and so powerful, you may not want it active all the time. Switch it ON or OFF while you're working with orders in the Orders tab.
To deactivate Quickship again, click the orange lightning bolt next to the Create Label button. When the button is green again, Quickship is no longer active.
If you want to block access to Quickship, then consider restricting access for specific users or disabling Quickship for your entire account.
Notes About Using Quickship
If you are using a pay-on-create carrier (like USPS or ShipStation Carrier Services), we highly recommend enabling auto-funding.
Set your shipping cutoff time so ShipStation automatically rolls the scheduled Ship Date forward after a certain time of day.
Configure your Label Queue so Quickshipped orders automatically print when they're done processing, are marked as printed, and/or are archived to remove them from the Label Queue.
If any part of the label-creation process fails, check the Label Queue for details.

Be aware of potential warnings Quickship will skip. There are two specific warnings that will prevent labels from being created with Quickship:
"This order has already been shipped." Quickship is valid only for the initial shipment or an order.
"Inventory Warning: Stock level has not been provided." If you have Track Inventory enabled in your ShipStation account, you must set stock levels for tracked items otherwise the label will fail on orders containing items with no set stock level.
Quickship is enabled by default for your entire account. To disable or enable Quickship on an account-wide basis, do the following:
Since the Quickship feature allows users to skip the screen with the rate details and shipping warnings during the label creation process, you may want to require some or all of your users to review the Cost Summary Screen every time they ship an order.
The next time a blocked user logs in, they won't have access to Quickship.
