How do I change the language used in ShipStation?

ShipStation allows you to change your preferred display language. Choose between the following languages (other languages to come soon!):

  • English (US & Canada)

  • English (UK & Ireland)

  • English (Australia & New Zealand)

  • French

  • French (Canada)

  • Spanish

  • German

The language setting is user-specific, so each user in your account can work in their preferred language.

Affects Only the ShipStation User Interface

The preferred language only affects the language in which the ShipStation UI is displayed. It does not affect labels, pick lists, or other documents your customers may see.

Change your account display language before login:

  1. Click the language drop-down under the password field.

  2. Select your preferred language from the language pop-up.

  3. Click Save.

    You can then log into ShipStation in your preferred language.

Change your account display language after login:

  1. Click your account profile icon.

  2. Choose Language.

  3. Select your preferred language from the Language drop-down.

  4. Click Save.

Your account interface will immediately change to display in the preferred language for the user you are currently logged in as. This is a user-specific setting, which means each user on the account can set their preferred language.

Change Language on Android Mobile App

The Android version of the ShipStation Mobile App has the option to change UI language under the Settings menu.
