Klaviyo is a software platform that integrates with the leading marketplaces to help merchants market and grow their business. Klaviyo has built the technology to house customer data at scale, create experiences across channels, and measure the results.

Connect Klaviyo to ShipStation

To connect ShipStation to Klaviyo, you will need to enter your ShipStation API Key and API Secret into your Klaviyo account.

Get API Key and Secret

  1. Click Generate New API Keys if no key and secret are listed yet.

    Account settings: API Keys: Reads, "You haven't generated any API keys". Generate New API Keys button.

    If you've already generated your API keys, the existing API keys will be displayed here and the button will say Regenerate API Keys.

    If you already have API keys, do NOT generate new ones. Instead, copy your existing key and secret.

  2. Copy your key and secret.

    You can then provide them to the account you wish to access the ShipStation API.

Once you have added the public and private API keys to your Klaviyo account, you can monitor the sync by going to the Analytics tab in your Klaviyo account. For detailed instructions on how to monitor the sync, see Klaviyo's ShipStation Integration documentation.

Klaviyo will sync the following order statuses:

  • Awaiting Shipment

  • Awaiting Payment

  • On Hold

  • Shipped

  • Cancelled

Additional Details About the Klaviyo Integration

  • Any orders Marked as Shipped manually or by a third party will not update the order status in Klaviyo.
