Web Shop Manager

Web Shop Manager is a marketplace for selling after market automotive products. The ShipStation integration with Web Shop Manager allows you to import your orders, create your shipping labels, leverage the ShipStation shipment management features, and automatically notify both the marketplace and your customers when orders ship.

The Web Shop Manager Help Center also provides details on how to connect your Web Shop Manager store to ShipStation. For additional details, visit WSM's ShipStation Integration help page.

Web Shop Manager Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • An active account with Web Shop Manager that has been enabled to use ShipStation (contact Web Shop Manager to enable your account for ShipStation).

  • A unique user created in your Web Shop Manager account.

WSM recommends this username is your site tag and ShipStation. This user should only be used for the store's connection to ShipStation.

  • The URL to your webstore endpoint.

  • The Web Store Manager username and password for the user dedicated to the ShipStation connection.

  • Your ShipStation API Key and Secret.

Order Import Requirements:

  • Orders must include a Ship To address.

  • You must map your Web Store Manager order statuses to the ShipStation statuses in the connection process.

Connect a Web Shop Manager Store to ShipStation

To connect your WSM store to ShipStation, you must take steps in both your WSM account and in ShipStation.

In your Web Shop Manager account:

  1. Contact WSM to enable your account for ShipStation, if you haven't already.

  2. Create a ShipStation user in your WSM account.

WSM recommends your user name is your site tag and ShipStation (for example, TAGShipStation). You can find the tag on the Admin Dashboard below the charts. This user account should only be used for the store connection, not for accessing the WSM account.

  3. Go to Systems > Configuration > General.

  4. Enter the username and password you created for the ShipStation user in step 2.

  5. Copy your ShipStation API key and secret and paste into WSM.

Learn how to access your ShipStation API Key and Secret.

  6. Save your changes.

In your ShipStation account:

  1. Select the Custom Store tile.

  2. Enter your Web Shop Manager URL endpoint.

  3. Enter your new user username and password.

  4. Map your Web Shop Manager order statuses to the ShipStation statuses.

Web Shop Manager has a preset list of order statuses to mapped to ShipStation during your connection process. You may map these in any way your workflow requires. See the Available Features section below for recommended status mapping.

After you've completed the connection steps, your store will be connected to ShipStation. You'll be taken to the store's Settings page to adjust the store-specific settings like branding, notification preferences, and product handling.
