The Sage 50 UK connector by Zynk allows you to connect ShipStation to your Sage 50 UK account. The Sage 50 connector includes tasks to automate specific business processes like importing and exporting order data, allocating and dispatching sales orders, sending out invoices and statements via email, posting invoices to ledgers as well as transaction based tasks to post stock movements, transactions, invoices, and orders.
The Sage 50 connector by Zynk is a downloaded application that is available for Windows workstations only. Sage 50 and the Zynk application must be installed on the same workstation. For more details on Sage 50 support by Zynk, please review the Zynk Sage 50 UK information page.
Export invoices or orders based on the settings and import into the app database.
These can be created or updated depending on app status and will set the status to either Hold or Ready.
Export records from app database in Ready status and import to Shipstation.
If successfully imported, orders will move to Processing, otherwise orders will move to Error with a message.
Export shipping information from Shipstation based on settings and if a match is found, Zynk will update the app database with courier and tracking number and set the status to Tracked.
Export from the app database in Tracked status and attempt to update the record in Sage.
In the footer tab, Zynk will try and set the Courier (if a match is found) and the Consign No. fields and move the order to Complete status. If no match is found, the order will be marked as Error.
To connect Zynk to ShipStation, you must enter your ShipStation API key and secret into the Zynk Connection Wizard. Review the Zynk help article Connecting to ShipStation for details on how to manage your Zynk connections and where to enter an API key and secret.
Click Generate New API Keys if no key and secret are listed yet.
Copy your key and secret.
You can then provide them to the account you wish to access ShipStation's API.
