TNT UK, now part of FedEx, provides domestic and international shipping services for UK merchants. Connect your TNT account to ShipStation to create domestic and international shipping labels, create multi-package shipment labels, track your shipments, and create return labels right in ShipStation.

TNT Integration Requirements

Connection Requirements:

ExpressConnect & ExpressLabel Registration

Prior to using TNT services, you must complete the ExpressConnect & ExpressLabel Registration form. Submit the completed form to support@shipstation.co.uk and we will submit the form to TNT on your behalf.

  • An active account with TNT UK

  • Your TNT UK Username and Password

  • International Account Number (9-digit number)

  • Domestic Account Number (10-digit number)

  • Account Country

Connect a TNT Account to ShipStation

To connect your TNT UK account to ShipStation:

  1. Submit the completed ExpressConnect & ExpressLabel Registration form to support@shipstation.co.uk prior to starting the account connection process. If you do not submit this form, you will be unable to connect your account to ShipStation.

  2. Go to Account Settings.

  3. Select Shipping, then choose Carriers from the sidebar.

  4. Go to the Your Carrier Accounts tab, then click Add Carrier.

  5. Select the TNT UK tile and click Connect.

  6. Enter your TNT UK Username and Password, Domestic Account Number, International Account Number, and Account Country, then choose an Account Nickname for you to identify the carrier account in ShipStation.

  7. Click Connect.

The carrier can be used to create domestic shipping labels.

The carrier can be used to create international shipping labels.

ShipStation will submit international customs declarations electronically to the carrier.

The carrier can be used to create domestic return labels.

ShipStation will display estimated shipping rates for the carrier based on the connected account information and shipment details.

Shipment insurance, provided by the shipment's selected carrier, can be added to the shipment in ShipStation. This insurance would be in addition to any default coverage already provided by that carrier.

Shipping labels created for this carrier will include a tracking number that can be used to view the shipment status on the carrier's tracking website. Tracking may not be available for all shipping services.

ShipStation can close the day's shipments for the carrier and submit the manifest electronically. The End of Day process may be mandatory or optional, based on the carrier and your account with them. A printable file may or may not be available when submitted electronically - see End of Day (PDF).

This carrier can be used to create multi-package shipments, where multiple labels are created for a single shipment and the individual packages are linked together in a single shipment record with a master tracking number.

You can connect this carrier to ShipStation multiple times using different accounts and choose which account will be used to create each shipment.

Additional Details About the TNT Integration

  • ShipStation's integration with TNT UK does not support scheduled pickups.

  • TNT UK does not have a void function. Labels that are created but never shipped expire after one week of inactivity.
